Explore Hawaiʻi Tours is a brand of Vohana LLC ("we", "us"), a Honolulu-based travel company. We are registered with the State of Hawaiʻi as a travel agency (registration no. TAR-7644-0) and an activity desk (registration no. AD-1519).

These terms apply when you use our websites, request planning help, book a call or book a tour with us. By booking, you agree to them.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Norwegian Cruise Line. We use the name "Pride of America" only to describe the cruise our guests are taking.
What we do
We plan and sell tours and activities in Hawaiʻi. Tours are delivered by independent, licensed and insured local tour companies that we select. We are your single point of contact for booking, changes, cancellations and refunds.
A few tours on our pages link to a partner's own website to book. Those bookings are made directly with that company, under its own terms and cancellation policy, which it shows before you pay.
Planning calls and sample plans
Planning calls are free and come with no obligation. Sample plans and itineraries on our pages are examples to help you plan; tour times, availability and prices can change, and nothing is reserved until it is booked and paid for.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Any taxes and fees are shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full at booking through our secure checkout unless your booking confirmation says otherwise.
Payments you make to us for tours and travel services are held in Vohana LLC's client trust account until the services are provided, as required for Hawaiʻi travel agencies.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel for a full refund up to 72 hours before your tour. Cancellations within 72 hours, no-shows and missed pickups are not refundable. If your tour is cancelled for weather, safety, by the tour itself, or because your ship can't make port, you get a full refund or our help rebooking. Changes to your booking
Ask us to change a date, time or party size and we'll do our best, subject to availability. A change requested less than 72 hours before the tour that can't be made is treated as a cancellation under our policy.
Changes by us or the tour
Tours can change their route, timing, vessel, vehicle or guide for weather, safety or operating reasons. If a change materially affects your tour, we'll tell you and offer another option or a full refund.
Cruise schedules and pickups
Your cruise line sets and can change its port times. We plan tours around the published schedule, but you are responsible for knowing your ship's all-aboard time and for being at your pickup point on time. Tours marked with a Back-to-Ship Guarantee carry the specific terms shown on that tour.
Your responsibilities on tour
- Arrive at pickup or check-in on time with the details in your confirmation.
- Follow your guide's safety instructions. Guides may refuse or end participation for safety, impairment or conduct reasons, without refund.
- Supervise children in your group at all times.
- Tell us before booking about any health, mobility or age considerations that could affect your ability to take part.
Health, safety and risk
Many activities in Hawaiʻi take place in the ocean, on trails, in volcanic areas or in aircraft and carry risks that can't be fully removed. By booking, you confirm that you and your group are fit to take part. Some tours ask guests to sign a release of liability before the activity. We recommend travel insurance; we do not sell or provide it.
Our liability
We act as a travel agent and activity desk. Tours are run by independent tour companies, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for their acts or omissions, or for those of cruise lines, airlines, hotels or other suppliers, or for events outside our control such as weather, natural events, closures or government action. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Hawaiʻi law that can't be limited.

If you opt in to texts, we'll send messages about your trip, planning call reminders and booking updates from Explore Hawaiʻi Tours. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our websites
Content on our pages is for planning your own trip. Photos are illustrative. We work to keep information accurate, but tour details, park rules and schedules change; your booking confirmation is the final word on your tour.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.
