Information we collect
What you tell us. Your name, email, phone number, sailing date, who's traveling (including children's age ranges), the islands and experiences you're interested in, your preferred pace, a budget range, and anything else you choose to share on our forms, on calls or by message.
Booking information. The tours you book, dates, party size, pickup details and payment status. Card payments are processed by our secure booking and payment provider; we don't store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our pages we and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar tools to record things like the pages you view, the buttons you click, your device and browser type and how you arrived. This includes the Meta Pixel and the tracking built into our website and CRM platform.
How we use it
- To respond to you, prepare for your planning call and plan your trip
- To book tours, send confirmations and reminders, and handle changes and refunds
- To send you emails about your trip and, if you haven't opted out, ideas and offers we think you'll like
- To send text messages if you opted in to them
- To understand how our pages are used, improve them, and measure and show our ads, including on Facebook and Instagram
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations and protect against fraud
Who we share it with
- Tour companies delivering your tour receive what they need to run it, such as names, party size, pickup details and a contact number.
- Service providers who run our website and CRM, booking and payments, email and text messaging, analytics and advertising, under agreements that limit how they use it.
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, guests or staff.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.
We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messages
If you opt in, we'll text you about your trip, planning call reminders and booking updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time.
Cookies and advertising
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage how ads are shown to you in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some pages work.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Email us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We may need to keep some records for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's law. Contact us to use them; we won't treat you differently for doing so.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to plan and deliver your trip, stay in touch if you've agreed, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send card numbers or other sensitive details by email or text.
Children
Our services are for adults planning travel. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Information about children traveling, such as age ranges, comes from the adult booking the trip.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date when we do.
